 (Links to an external site.) (Links to an external site.)1. As you listen, pay attention to the way he speaks–for example, how he manages his strong accent, pauses for effect, contains his nervousness, etc. Pick 1 moment in the TED Talk where you think the author did something particularly effective in the way he spoke.  Describe each moment and explain why you think it was effective. Be specific. 

2. Consider the way that he uses the slides behind him. How much does he rely on the slides and what purpose to they serve?  

3. Describe 1-2 slides that you think added in a meaningful way to his presentation and explain why you think they (or the way he talked about them) worked well. Again, be specific. 

4. What’s one thing you can learn from the speaker’s example and would want to try to do in future?
